48 x 36 OIL ON GALLERY WRAP
As I continue to explore Water, Wind, and Other Wonders, in this series of waterscapes, I find myself experiencing this painting as a placeholder for the liminal space I’ve fallen into during this time. This place doesn’t exist anywhere that I know of but, it feels like somewhere on the east coast. It feels like the tide is beginning to recede and yet, one finds themselves immersed in the lingering tide waters and foreboding sand dunes, where time starts to escape one’s consciousness. In the presence of this desolate convergence of water and land, the oncoming storm reawakens the soul.
