36 x 36 OIL ON GALLERY WRAP
As I continue to explore Water, Wind, and Other Wonders, in this series of waterscapes, I find myself experiencing this painting as a remembrance of a more innocent time, when wandering along a sandy beach as a child, was all one needed to find fulfilment and joy. My goal in this painting was to give the viewer a place of joyful peace, filled with tranquility. I also hoped one could feel the still damp sand under one’s feet, while connecting to the whimsical lightness of this little girl’s excursion along the beach.
Gorgeous painting, absolutely love it. Somehow can close my eyes and be there. Thank you for creating such a gift.
Ms. Vargas,
Thank you for your kind comments and for taking the time to make them. We made a large family trip to Florida a number of years ago and this painting always reminds me of those wonderful memories.
I love this painting so much as it brings back fond memories of going to the beach as a small child up to my recent trip to Kauai! The ocean has always been very near and dear to my heart. You are so talented and it was an honor meeting you at Dr. Griffin’s. I’ll have to visit your art gallery! Thank you again for your help in my journey to healthy living.
Thank you Jill. It was great meeting you as well and I hope I was of some help to you. I don’t have an art gallery however, my next exhibition will be in October at Paseo Gallery One. I hope to see you there!
