28 x 40 Oil On Canvas (On My Wall At Home)
I painted this in my first and only painting class at the University of Central Oklahoma back in 2016. One of our assignments was to paint a copy of one of the masters to whom we aspire. As a child growing up in Houston, TX, I would stand and gaze at the painting both in awe and admitidly envious as I was convinced I would never be able to paint like that. Try as I might, I could not match the greens he used. He somehow was able to marry warm and cool greens in such a way that still confounds me to this day. It was a significant growing experience to try and emulate his work.
