20 x 16 OIL ON CANVAS – IN BLACK FLOATER FRAME
Among the first of a series I have been working on developing my skills in water presentations. I find it a wonderful challenge attempting to capture motion in a single frame. My goal in this painting was to give one that sense of being overwhelmed by oncoming waves. It was always an invigorating sensation as a kid being taken up and tossed by oncoming waves! The series is entitled, Water, Wind, and Other Wonders.
Having grown up near the ocean, it has been a wonderful journey back to the places of my youth.
